Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation -CES Therapy: just what I needed for morning commute

"CES cranial electrotherapy stimulation makes my morning commute bearable"

This is somewhat paraphrased and from memory so I admit, it may not be 100% accurate but pretty close, at least 90%.  Anyway, I was speaking to a recent customer who called in about 4 weeks after buying the StimTens Myocalme CES cranial electrotherapy stimulation device.  He really only called to ask a few basic questions in regard to how long he should use it.  As an FYI, we recommend about 20 minute sessions at a time. Anyway, we got to talking about the weather, work, traffic, etc. and one subject that came up was this gentleman's 60 minute commute to and from work each day.  He described how he takes the 7:20 train each morning into NYC and that's really the worst part of his day.

He informed me that this is by far the most stressful part of his day because of the anxiety of dealing with the unknown.  This gentleman works in a "high pressure' job in New York and each morning when he walks into the office, he gets hit with "fires" that need to be put out from every angle.  The anxiety of the upcoming day was extremely stressful.

To make a long story short, he incorporated the StimTens Myocalme CES cranial electrotherapy device into his commute time and it's greatly reduced the anxiety he experienced thinking of the upcoming day.  Previously, he'd buy a paper but would just look at it, he wouldn't really read the words, just stare and try to focus on the upcoming fires he knew he'd be walking into.

The StimTens MyoCalme CES device worked perfectly for his situation.  Firstly, no one notices that your using it because the electrodes are simply placed on your earlobes so it's totally discreet and looks like you're listening to music.  There are other  CES devices out there that work by placing large sponge electrodes on your temples.  This is somewhat dated technology and I would not personally recommend these for this situation.

In summary, the StimTens MyoCalme CES device greatly reduced his anxiety and turned his hectic commute into a somewhat enjoyable train ride.  Additionally, he said that he arrived at work much more focussed and ready to take on the day without his responsibilities feeling so overwhelming.

I thought I'd share this experience with you.  It's a somewhat different use for the MyoCalme device but shows the versatility and portability.  The MyoCalme device is available through Stimtens and includes a 90 day free trial.
